Leading Through Pressure: Culture, Commitment, and Care in Uncertain Times
Leaders today are being asked to do more with less while their people are navigating stress, change fatigue, and uncertainty about the future. This presentation speaks directly to that reality. Drawing from her doctoral research on culture and organizational commitment, Dr. Doumbia unpacks how pressure, rapid change, and mixed messages can unintentionally damage trust and loyalty, even when leaders are trying their best.
She offers a grounded, compassionate approach to leading through challenging times that doesn’t sacrifice people in the name of performance. Participants will explore how to communicate hard decisions with honesty and empathy, how to keep culture from becoming “collateral damage” during change, and how to care for themselves as leaders so they can show up with clarity, steadiness, and integrity when it matters most.
