From Corporate to Calling: Bold Moves into Entrepreneurship

Leaving a corporate career means more than changing how you earn a living. It can mean redefining your identity, facing uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself and God in unfamiliar territory. In this candid and engaging presentation, speaker, podcast host, and Bold Moves Coach Bernitha Rena shares her journey from corporate America into entrepreneurship. She explores the personal decisions behind that transition, including releasing a familiar professional identity, confronting fear, and pursuing a calling without having every detail figured out.

Drawing on her experience and the focus of her Bold Moves coaching program, Bernitha helps participants examine their motivations, recognize the beliefs keeping them stuck, and identify practical next steps toward purposeful work. Audiences will consider how their existing skills can serve a new direction, how to pair faith with intentional action, and how to keep moving when progress feels uncertain. Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals considering a career transition, and faith-based business audiences, this presentation offers an honest look at the inner work of entrepreneurship and the courage it takes to begin.
